Happy Independence Day of the Republic of Estonia! 108th Anniversary of the Republic of Estonia
24 February is a special day for the entire country — a day of freedom, responsibility, and solidarity. Estonia is built not only on its history and traditions, but above all on its people — their respect for one another and their commitment to protecting the dignity of every individual.
For the MTÜ EHPV team, this day carries particular meaning. Our work is directly connected to the core values of modern Estonia: equality, access to healthcare, care for vulnerable communities, and the right of every person to live a healthy and dignified life.
Every day we see the importance of:
- supporting people living with HIV;
- prevention and education;
- reducing stigma and discrimination;
- cooperation between the state, local municipalities, and civil society.
Estonia has developed a modern healthcare system, implemented innovative solutions, and advanced digital services. Yet the true strength of a society is measured not only by technology, but by its solidarity — especially during challenging socio-economic times.
We sincerely thank our clients, partners, healthcare and social workers, volunteers, and everyone who works with us to create a safer and more caring society in Tallinn, Narva, Jõhvi, Tartu, Pärnu, and across the country.
May Estonia’s independence continue to stand for:
