In February 2026, partners of the RefAid BaltHUB project met in Narva-Jõesuu, Estonia, for a Joint Governance, Coordination & Planning Workshop — marking the operational launch of project implementation.
Representatives from the Estonian Network of People Living with HIV (EHPV) (Lead), Demetra (Lithuania), AGIHAS (Latvia), and partners of BaltHUB from VirusOFF.info worked together to confirm governance structures, align coordination mechanisms, and develop a concrete task-based workplan for the next phase of activities across the Baltic States.
Over three days, partners agreed on reporting and monitoring procedures, financial management principles, communication and donor visibility standards, and clear responsibilities per output. The meeting concluded with defined priority actions and strengthened regional coordination mechanisms, and a short study visit to EHPVs office in Narva.
“This workshop allowed us to move from strategy to structured action. By aligning our governance, responsibilities, and timelines, we have built a finalised our foundation for coordinated and accountable implementation across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania,”
— Armen Aghajanov, Project Manager RefAID BaltHUB.
RefAid BaltHUB strengthens inclusive refugee support systems through digital tools and peer-led services, focusing especially on people living with HIV (PLHIV), LGBTQ+ individuals, women with children, and other vulnerable communities.
The project is implemented with financial support from the Swiss contribution under the Rapid Response Fund.
