As of 1 August, RefAid BaltHUB continues to support Ukrainians in Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia through consultations, referrals, accompaniment, emergency support, and community-based activities.

Since 1 April, 147 people have received different types of support through the project. In July alone, 47 people were supported.

During the same period, RefAid BaltHUB addressed more than 60 support cases. Behind each case is a specific life situation: a person trying to understand where to seek help, a family navigating social or medical services, someone needing support with documents, or a person facing uncertainty in a new country.

The project has also provided more than 350 consultations across the Baltic countries:

• Estonia — 160 consultations

• Lithuania — 139 consultations

• Latvia — 67 consultations

These numbers show more than project activity. They reflect real steps of support: conversations, explanations, referrals, accompaniment, and practical assistance that help people move through difficult situations with more clarity and safety.

For Ukrainians in migration, access to support often means more than receiving a contact or a list of services. It may mean understanding the local system, knowing which step to take first, receiving information in a clear and respectful way, or being accompanied when the situation feels too difficult to manage alone.

RefAid BaltHUB continues working to ensure that Ukrainians in the Baltic countries can access support that is confidential, non-discriminatory, and responsive to their real needs.

The project’s results are not only measured in numbers, but in the many small and important steps that help people feel less alone while adapting to life in a new country.
