Last week, a meeting of BaltHUB project participants took place in Tartu. It was an important opportunity to meet in person, exchange experience, review the work already done, and discuss future directions for cooperation.

Today, several initiatives are being implemented in Estonia at the same time. They may have different tasks, formats, and target groups, but they share a common direction: supporting communities, improving access to services, and strengthening cooperation between organisations.

This is why meetings like this matter.

They create space to bring together experience, resources, and ideas. They help project teams see the broader picture of their work, identify shared priorities, and explore new ways to respond to the needs of people and communities.

A separate working meeting was also held within the MSM Checkpoint Baltanuzha project, connected to the start of work of the new project coordinator in Estonia. The meeting was not only an introduction, but also an opportunity to discuss what has already been achieved, what needs have been identified, and how the project can continue developing in the future.

The discussion focused on the needs of the MSM community in Estonia, the development of existing services, and possible new areas of work. For the project team, it is important that services do not remain static, but continue to evolve together with the needs of people.

These conversations showed once again that cooperation is not only about coordination. It is about trust, shared responsibility, and the ability to create stronger solutions together.

Tartu became a place where people, ideas, and experience came together — to reflect, plan, and move forward.
