It is available in Ukrainian, russian and English. You can call this number to request assistance: legal, psychological, medical, and financial.

Financial support

Poland is significantly reducing financial assistance to Ukrainian refugees from 1 July 2024: the 300 PLN allowance on arrival, free accommodation and meals for 120 days (except for accommodation in
places of mass accommodation) will be cancelled. The 800+ and 300+ child allowances will be paid only if children of school age attend schools in Poland. You can apply for assistance here.

As of 01.07.2024, compensation payments in the amount of PLN 40 per day for providing accommodation and meals to Ukrainian refugees will be cancelled. The assistance will be retained only for some cases of mass accommodation (10 people or more), as well as for state and municipal structures. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland has published contacts for Ukrainians who will seek support in living after the end of the 40+ programme.

We provide consultations on the possibility of receiving medical care in Poland and other EU countries in your native language (referral to online platforms and doctors who speak Ukrainian, russian, belarusian, English). In order to ensure effective medical support for people living with HIV in the context of the forced displacement of Ukrainians within the country and abroad, in partnership with the Public Health Centre of the Ministry of Health, HelpNow introduced a unique approach for Ukraine – a universal doctor profile on the Help24 platform, which provides qualified online medical care to Ukrainian patients with HIV.

You can receive ART in Poland for free by providing an identity card.

In Poland, buprenorphine and methadone are available for the treatment of PTSD.

Patients from Ukraine have the opportunity to undergo diagnosis of chronic hepatitis B, C and treatment (if the diagnosis is positive) on a free basis. In addition, from 01.07.2022, family doctors in Poland can provide a referral for hepatitis C testing, and this study is covered by NFZ insurance.

In the case of the slightest suspicion of the presence of tuberculosis, it is necessary to contact the doctor of first contact in a medical institution. He will provide referrals and necessary information regarding further examination and treatment.

Psychological and social support

Social (humanitarian) support is provided on the basis of a rapid assessment of the situation, depending on each individual request and the possibilities currently offered by host governments and non-governmental
organisations providing humanitarian support. Fundacja HelpNowHUB provides advice and contacts for possible additional support or referrals among the available relevant services.
